Professional Development/Leadership Opportunities:
“The 2023 Capital One HSI Immersion Program will offer 50 selected students an opportunity to embark on an extensive and immersive personal, professional, and technical development journey under the leadership of Capital One mentors. Selected scholars will travel and participate in a three-day immersion experience focusing on career exploration and professional development. Students will have the opportunity to work directly with designated Capital One mentors who will work to guide students toward a final capstone presentation that will conclude the week’s immersion.”
The program will take place in Plano, Texas (All Travel, Lodging, and Meal expenses are covered for all selected candidates). Students will receive a $1,000 stipend.

Rising Sophomores, Juniors, or Seniors that attend a Hispanic Serving Institution
Minimum GPA 3.0
Students should be majoring in a Business related major (e.g. Business, Economics)
OR a Technology related major (e.g.Math, Engineering, Computer Science, etc)
The American Express Discovery Program (ADP) is a two-day exploratory program hosted in 3 locations (New York, Sunrise, Florida and Phoenix) with the option for virtual sessions providing students the opportunity to learn more about American Express. Students will experience our culture firsthand, learn more about AXP history, gain a comprehensive understanding of our unique business units and build a network with AXP colleagues.

The program is accepting applications from students in a variety of majors, including Business Management, Communications, Marketing, Actuarial Science, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics or related quantitative or business majors.

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities is accepting applications for its Voces Nuevas Program, focused on student engagement in advocacy and leadership experiences.
Through a sponsorship made possible by Capital One, ten students (five from California and five from Texas) will be selected to participate in the program. Students will receive a $2,000 participation stipend and attend HACU’s 29th National Capitol Forum on Hispanic Higher Education on April 9-10, 2024, in Washington, D.C.
Undergraduate students in any major interested in public policy and issues related to Hispanic success are highly encouraged to apply. Eligible students must meet the following:
Be an undergraduate student sophomore, junior, or senior.
Ostem is providing awards that are are specifically for LGBTQ+ identified students pursuing education at either the community college, undergraduate, or graduate levels.
Be attending or enrolled in a community college, undergraduate, or graduate institutions
Be pursuing a degree in a STEM field.
Attend an institution in a country where oSTEM has active chapters: USA, United Kingdom, Canada.
