Are you the next Richard Tapia? Aside from being an expert in Computational and Applied Mathematics, Professor Richard Tapia is the first Latino elected to the National Academy of Engineering and has pioneered programs that expose underrepresented students to careers in computational and applied mathematics. The Tapia Conference, named after Professor Tapia, is an annual conference that aims to promote and celebrity diversity in computing.
This year’s Tapia Conference will be held September 18-21, 2019 in sunny San Diego, California.
