Diversity in Structural Engineering Scholarship

The NCSEA Foundation established the NCSEA Diversity in Structural Engineering Scholarship in 2020 to award funding to students who have been traditionally underrepresented in structural engineering (including but not limited to Black/African Americans, Native/Indigenous Americans, Hispanics/Latinos, and other people of color).  Multiple scholarships up to $5,000 each will be presented annually to undergraduate students and/or graduate students pursuing degrees in structural engineering.

CONGRESSIONAL BLACK CAUCUS FOUNDATION HBCU Scholarship

The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s National Racial Equity Initiative for Social Justice (NREI) HBCU Social Justice Scholarships were created to encourage and support the next generation of social justice leaders committed to dismantling systemic barriers and advancing equity, freedom, and justice for all, especially the Black community and racial minorities. The funds will be disbursed on an annual basis to undergraduate, graduate or doctoral level students attending Historically Black Colleges or Universities, pursuing studies related to social justice to include, but not limited to, criminal justice, education, civil rights or community/economic development. Students must demonstrate their interests and experience in social justice, student activism, and/or community service.

Nordson Corporation

Nordson Corporation provides three categories of scholarships: Career & Technical, University Scholars, and Creating Equity in Industry. These manufacturing industry scholarships are targeted at individuals whose permanent residence or college is near a Nordson facility, and are pursuing majors in manufacturing, engineering-related STEM disciplines, or business leading to a career in industry and corporate America. Scholarships ranging from $2,000 to $10,000 will be awarded to students planning to enroll or already enrolled in an accredited public or private not-for-profit postsecondary institution including a 4-year college/university, 2-year community college or trade school.
